Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden is an exciting JRPG card adventure coming February 17
Square Enix has announced that the second part of the unique Voice of Cards series, The Forsaken Maiden, will be released this month on February 17th.
In 2021, Square Enix released Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. It is a brand new game from the company which is an adventure card game with Nier's Yoko Taro as its creative director. While the previous game came out last year, the development team will release another installment in the series known as Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden.
Voice of Cards has many unique aspects that set it apart from other JRPGs and places a lot of emphasis on storytelling. This allows for a much more unique experience with an aesthetic that makes the whole game feel more like a tabletop adventure. The player has the option to explore multiple paths in Voice of Cards, which are usually associated with the works of Yoko Taro.
Square Enix has released a new trailer for Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden detailing the new setting the game will take place in. Now the island is in danger, and the party must sail the seas to avert this cruel fate.
This trailer also showed some of the new members of the group. One of them is an unnamed young man who goes on this journey to save the island, accompanied by a girl named Lati. There were several other characters present in the trailer who could help in some way in the battle or advance the plot. The trailer shows a very quick glimpse of what to expect from the game, with various shots of battles, story events, and more.
Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden will release on February 17 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Switch.
