Last year's Galaxy S21 Ultra disappeared from sale on the Samsung website ahead of the release of the Galaxy S22 line
In a few days, Samsung will hold a large-scale presentation, at which the new flagship Galaxy S22 line will debut. But today we will not talk about her, but about the further fate of last year's Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Where is he?
PhoneArena journalists noticed that the Galaxy S21 Ultra disappeared from the official Samsung website in the US: most of the options disappeared from the warehouse a few weeks ago, and those who want to buy a smartphone are offered the Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S21 and S21+ models. By the way, the base Galaxy S21 and its advanced version Galaxy S21+ are still on sale, but for how long is unclear.
At the same time, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is available in many other countries and remains available in retail stores. For example, BestBuy, AT&T and Verizon in the same States. That is, so far we are talking only about the official Samsung website in the United States.
Of course, it is still too early to talk about the cessation of smartphone production. But that wouldn't come as a surprise: With a severe shortage of chips, it's no surprise that Samsung has redirected all resources to the new Galaxy S22 Ultra.
