Battlefield 2042 players ask for money back, petition gets over 20,000 signatures
A petition demanding a refund for Battlefield 2042 on all platforms is quickly spreading online as many people share their dissatisfaction with the game.
Battlefield 2042 marketers made many promises, but the game came out in a deplorable state. The game quickly disappeared from all the charts. Players have left the game, and the recent delay in Battlefield 2042's seasonal content hasn't helped at all. This all easily turns Battlefield 2042 into one of the most disappointing games of 2021, and fans are now demanding a refund.
The Change.org petition claims that Battlefield 2042 cost consumers millions of dollars and upset hundreds of thousands of gamers. The petition mentions several developments since its launch, such as claims that it can't be played and serious bugs that affect gameplay to this day. It goes on to say that "Signing this petition is equivalent to saying, 'I want a refund for this game.'
The creator of the petition, Satoshi Nakamoto, also says that if the petition gets 50,000 signatures, then one of the best class-lawyers will take the case against EA. However, the name of the lawyer was not named, and no evidence of the claim was presented. Nevertheless, the petition gained more than 20,000 signatures.
Nakamoto ends this petition by stating: “The gaming community should not tolerate this kind of abuse and bullying from multi-billion dollar corporations that make unfinished games and false advertising.»
Battlefield 2042 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
