Microsoft is working on a Surface device with a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 processor on board

German insider Roland Quandt found out that Microsoft is working on a new Surface device.

What is known

The novelty was tested in the Geekbench performance test database. According to the report, the device will be powered by a new processor Snapdragon 8cx Gen3. In case you didn't know, this is the flagship 5nm ARM chip for Windows-based devices. It was introduced at the end of 2021.

In the single-core Geekbench test, the novelty is gaining 1005 points, and in the multi-core test - 5574 points. By the way, the second result surpasses even some 25-watt Intel and AMD chips. For example, the same Intel Core i7-1165G7.
