The Elden Ring system requirements appeared on Steam, but were quickly removed
Yesterday, February 12, the developers updated the Elden Ring page on Steam, adding system requirements. But a few hours later they were removed, and now there is an inscription "TBD". However, the screenshots went online, so we can see what they were like.
So to play Elden Ring you need to have:
- OS: Windows 10, Windows 11
- Processor: Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
- Memory: 12 GB of RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 1060 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4 GB
- DirectX: 12
- Memory: 60 GB
To many players, these requirements seemed too high, especially for minimal game settings.
FromSoftware has always tended to be softer and more unpretentious, as their latest release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice in 2019 only required the 2011 i5 2600K processor and the lower-end GTX 970. Even with the big open world, the Elden Ring is a big leap to the 2017 i5-8400 mid-range and low-end i and AMD's 2017 Ryzen 3 3300X budget processor.
Most likely, this list actually reflects the recommended game requirements of 1080p and 60 frames per second, rather than the minimum specification required to run, but it is possible that it was not basic. But we will know the exact answer to this question only after the re-publication of system requirements on Steam
