Spotify: People over 30 often listen to music on consoles

From time to time, Spotify shares statistics showing gamers' musical tastes. The latest report provides information on which devices users listen to music on. 

Consoles

• The share of PlayStation and Xbox is growing every quarter, but still remains small compared to other gadgets that support Spotify.
• People over the age of 30 listen to music on consoles most often. The share of PlayStation and Xbox for the age group from 30 to 34 years - 2.6% of the total number of listens.

Rest

• People between the ages of 18 and 24 most often use Spotify on their PCs - 25% of all auditions.
• Tablets are preferred by "buzzers" and people over 55 - 11.8% and 9.8% of listens, respectively. The share of fans of tablets from 25 to 34 years - 6.1%.
• On "smart" speakers, music is mostly listened to by those over 45 years old.
• Smartphones are still the most popular type of device for listening to Spotify music.
