In honor of the 35th anniversary of the franchise, Capcom announced Street Fighter 6 and the Capcom Fighting Collection
After 6 years and two updates in Street Fighter 5, Capcom has finally officially announced Street Fighter 6. teaser site The countdown has ended and Capcom has officially announced Street Fighter 6 after the end of the Capcom Pro Tour fighting game show.
A short teaser showed an enhanced Ryu as he faces off against Luke, the 45th and final character of Street Fighter 5. The announcement of Street Fighter 6 also coincided with the franchise's 35th anniversary.

Capcom also announced the Capcom Fighting Collection, an anthology of 10 classic games including the complete Darkstalkers series. Capcom Fighting Collection will release on June 24, 2022 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Xbox One.
Street Fighter 6 is in active development at an unknown release date.
