Bethesda will close its launcher in April and move all games and saves to Steam
Launcher from Bethesda debuted in 2016 as home to games from Bethesda and its studios, including id Software and Arkane. LThe launcher apparently didn't live up to Bethesda's expectations, because in April it will cease to exist and all games will move to Steam.
Exact dates have yet to be announced, but users with games on the Bethesda Launcher will be able to transfer them to Steam sometime in early April. PThe process will include transferring all the games in your library and your wallet - "You won't lose anything from your Bethesda.net account," Bethesda said.
Most saves will also be moved to Steam, with one exception for unexplained reasons being Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
Bethesda encourages launcher users to start moving their games to Steam as soon as possible. Once port option becomes available: Bethesda.net launcher functionality will end at the end of April.
