Oppo Reno7 Lite 5G gets official as a rebranded Reno7 Z 5G
Today at an event in Prague Oppo unveiled the Reno7 Lite 5G for markets in Central and Eastern Europe. Although rumored to be in production, the device has not been launched anywhere else. Don’t let that fool you though, for we have seen it before, albeit under a different name. It turns out that the Reno7 Lite 5G is actually just a Reno7 Z 5G by another name.
It has the exact same specifications. You get a 6. 43″ 1080×2400 OLED screen, a triple rear camera setup with a 64 MP main, 2 MP macro shooter, and 2 MP depth sensor, a 16 MP selfie snapper, the Snapdragon 695 SoC at the helm, 8GB of storage, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It runs ColorOS 12, and will be available in two color versions: Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black.
The former uses two-layer coating with a base layer containing a reflecting indium coating and a top color gradient coating comprising of red, yellow, and green, for a rainbow shimmer effect that’s true to the colorway’s name. The back of this smartphone has six color transitions. It looks great!
The Reno7 Lite 5G also has Dual Orbit Lights, which are integrated behind the two primary cameras, lighting up or blinking in a variety of colors depending on different scenarios. The phone is very thin at 7. 5mm and weighs only 173g.
The Reno7 Lite 5G will be available in Central and Eastern Europe soon, with pricing to be announced on a country-by-country basis.
