Samsung Galaxy M53 landing in India on April 22
Samsung quietly launched the Galaxy M53 smartphone, and now it is time for the device to reach store shelves. The first major market confirmed for the mid-range phone in India – it will arrive on April 22.
The Galaxy M53 borrowed some specs from its mightier sibling Galaxy A73, including the 6. 7″ Super AMOLED+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery. There is also a 108 MP main camera and a 32 MP selfie shooter, but aside from that, the specs are pretty basic.
The quad-cam setup on the back is completed by an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and two 2 MP shooters for macro and portrait photos. The chipset is allegedly Dimensity 900 with two Cortex-A78 cores at 2. 4 GHz, and memory is 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
We do not know how much would the Galaxy M53 cost in India, but given the INR24,999 ($325) cost of the predecessor, we expect the new price tag to be in the same ballpark.
