Starlink will open its representative office in Ukraine
Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov announced another good news: Elon Musk's Starlink satellite communications platform project has begun preparatory work to open its representative office in Ukraine.
The Minister instructed the relevant authorities to carry out the necessary procedures for certification, measurements and the provision of frequencies as soon as possible.
By the way, to date, Ukraine has received more than 10,000 Starlink stations for access to satellite Internet. “Today, more than 10,000 stations help to keep in touch and support the operation of critical energy and telecommunications facilities, healthcare facilities and even the sowing campaign, and also return the de-occupied territories to life. Now Ukraine is almost impossible to imagine without modern Starlink technology. And this technology will become even more accessible to Ukrainians,” Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized.
For example, recently, thanks to Starlink stations, a local provider was able to resume access to the Internet in the Chernihiv region.
