Steam resumed payments to Ukrainian developers for the first time since the full-scale war

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that Valve had announced the establishment of a system for obtaining the necessary information about the intermediary bank from Ukrainian partners and its inclusion in the payment system.

Valve resumed payments for Ukrainian developers by introducing changes into banking procedures. We’ve sent a letter with a request to fix this unfair issue - @Valvesoftware @stream responds as a true friend of Ukraine.

Earlier, Steam announced the suspension of payments to developers from Russia, Belarus and even Ukraine. It was the only digital distribution platform that has stopped paying Ukrainian users since the beginning of the war. However, after the Ministry of Finance submitted an official letter regarding payments to Ukrainian developers on Steam, the payment process resumed.
