Apple has suddenly released a new firmware version for the MagSafe Battery Pack.

What is known

A new version of the software has been released with a build number 2.7.b.0. The main innovation of the system is increased charging power up to 7.5 W. The MagSafe Battery Pack originally charged the iPhone at up to 5W.

The update will be available to everyone soon. If you don't want to wait, you can connect the battery via cable to your iPhone, iPad or MacBook. After a while, the firmware will automatically update.
