Vivo Unveils X80 Pro: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1/Dimensity 9000 Flagship Smartphone, 120Hz Samsung Screen, 80W Charging

After Vivo S15e, the Chinese manufacturer also showed a new flagship line of smartphones. It was headed by Vivo X80 Pro.

What kind of animal

The novelty received two versions. The first comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and the second comes with a Dimensity 9000 chip. Which of them will enter the global market is still unknown, but it can be assumed that this will be a model based on Qualcomm SoC.

The device is equipped with a large 6.78-inch Samsung E5 LTPO2 AMOLED display. The screen received a QHD + picture resolution, an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and a built-in fingerprint scanner with a recognition area increased by 38.7%.

As for cameras, there are five of them in Vivo X80 Pro. Main received four modules. Main sensor on 1/1.3 inch resolution 50 MP. It supports optical image stabilization, laser autofocus and technology Pixel Shift. It is complemented by a 12 MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens with gimbal stabilization and 2x zoom. Next comes another zoom camera, but at 8 MP and 5x optical zoom and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front camera in Vivo X80 Pro is one at 32 MP. 

The flagship is powered by a 4700 mAh battery. It supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless. The novelty also has NFC, a cooling system, stereo speakers and IP68 protection. The device runs on Android 12 operating system.

Price and when to expect

Vivo X80 Pro will go on sale in China on April 29th. The novelty will cost from $840 to $1020.
