Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has been confirmed, and the game's first logo has also been released

After announcement Late last week, Infinity Ward released the first official logo for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
What else is known
- Modern Warfare 2 is a continuation of the reboot of Modern Warfare 2019, not a remake of the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 2009.
- Apart from the logo, no new details about the game have been revealed.
- The sequel to Modern Warfare 2019 was officially announced in February with Warzone 2.
- Infinity Ward takes the lead in the development of Modern Warfare 2. But they are helped by other studios.
- Modern Warfare 2 marks a new development strategy for the series. As reported Bloomberg: Activision seek to move away from the annual release schedule.

Although Microsoft has acquired Activision Blizzard, Modern Warfare 2 will not be exclusive to Xbox. According to a report from earlier this year, Activision Blizzard has already committed to releasing three more Call of Duty games on several platforms, including PlayStation.
