For the sake of a common victory: Poland will transfer television and radio equipment to Ukraine
During the war, the aggressor deliberately destroys the telecommunications infrastructure of Ukraine, dozens of transmitting television centers were damaged due to shelling. Therefore, one of the main tasks is to restore broadcasting. And neighboring countries help Ukraine in this.
What was transferred?
For example, Lithuania recently provided 19 TV and FM receivers. Now help is expected from Poland.
“Within the framework of cooperation between the State Service for Special Communications and CRRT and the leading operator of on-air radio and television in the Republic of Poland, Emitel, Ukraine will receive television and radio broadcasting equipment free of charge. The agreement on the supply of the first batch has already been signed by representatives of the concern and the Polish company,” the State Service for Special Communications reports.
In the coming weeks, four powerful digital television transmitters, three FM transmitters and antenna systems for them will be delivered to Ukraine. All this equipment will work for the sake of a common victory over the enemy on the information front.
