Turney Power Strip is an upside down solution to hide ugly wires
Power strips are a dime a dozen, but only a few can be considered innovative. Most power extensions are boring. Although only a handful of power extensions are truly remarkable, technology is improving and products design becomes more exciting.
The Turney concept design shows how innovation can make life easier. There is also the problem of dust and twisted lines. It is not a good idea to have messy wires or a messy work space.
Designer: Yeeun Son
The Turney is a concept power strip designed by Yeeun Son. South Korean designer Yeeun Son knows the dangers of a messy space. So as a simple solution, the designer turned the power strip upside down. The dust is covered so that no dirt can collect. The power strip can be used as a charging device. It can also be used as a wireless charger by tweaking, like adding a wireless charging coil on the surface.
The Turney comes with four power strip outlets. There are two USB ports at the bottom that can be used for most mobile devices. It’s highly recommended you turn over the strip to cover the cables and wires. By doing this, it is much safer for people to trip on the outlets. In addition, there is no danger of electrocution because it is covered.
Power strips are dust magnets, but with the Turney, you don’t have to worry about them. Standard power strips are really unsightly, but you can hide them with this product design. An upside-down power strip is an intelligent solution. While we’re sure someone has already thought of this, the Turney is more appealing. The upside-down orientation won’t affect any gadgets, as they can be charged quickly.
The Turney Power Strip offers a minimalist appeal as it covers the unsightly wires. The Turney Power Strip can be used to keep an interior minimalist. The Turney can simply make things look less cluttered each day. There is that white cover that keeps everything bright and clean. You can charge your devices wirelessly with the black top. Other colors are available.
We have seen a number of uniquely-designed power strips in the past. We remember the Multi-Tab Power Strip from a decade ago. Wall-Ti Tap Power Strip hides ugly cables and wires. O’ket’s power strip can combine and switch up different plug arrangements according to your needs. The Turney is a new concept that we think can sell if it goes into production.
