Character designer Apex Legends admits that the appearance of new characters in the game will occur less often

Character designer Devan McGuire in a conversation with Dexerto admitted that Respawn is increasingly difficult to give unique characters.

What else is known

• McGuire admits that there may come a time when Respawn decides to start a new season of Apex Legends without releasing a new character.
• "Currently, the studio is actively discussing whether to continue to release characters at the same pace. Maybe nothing will change, but we do not want to oversaturate the game with heroes, "said Devan.
• Respawn still follows the usual schedule, so players should expect a new character in the 14th season.
•  The studio is already planning heroes for the next two years. However, this does not mean that all these characters will necessarily appear.
  

Season 13 Apex Legends starts on May 10. With him in the game will be the hero of Newcastle and updated rank mode.
