Sony Xperia 10 IV: Snapdragon 695 chip, OLED screen with Gorilla Glass Victus, triple camera, IP68 protection and 5000 mAh battery for €499
Sony held an event in Europe where it announced the Xperia 10 IV smartphone (read as Xperia 10 Mark 4).
What is known
The novelty looks no different from the previous model. All changes affected the filling. So, the device was equipped with a 6-inch OLED screen. It received FHD + resolution, the usual refresh rate of 60 Hz and tempered glass Gorilla Glass Victus. An octa-core processor is working under the hood of the smartphone Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G. For comparison, the previous model had an SoC Snapdragon 690. The chip is paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
As for the main camera, it is triple with a 12 MP main sensor. It is complemented by an 8MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The front camera is also new at 8 MP. The device has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, LDAC support and IP68 protection. The Xperia 10 IV is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone supports 30W fast charging. The smartphone comes with Android 12 operating system out of the box.
Price and when to expect
The Sony Xperia 10 IV will go on sale in Europe in June. The novelty will cost 499 euros.
