Google Wallet: application for storing bank cards, vaccination certificates, tickets and travel cards

Naturally, in addition to hardware, Google showed a lot of software innovations at the I / O 2022 conference, including Wallet.

What it is

This is an application for Android owners where you can store bank cards, travel cards, tickets, boarding passes, and vaccination certificates. In the future, the program will also receive support for digital rights, identity cards and virtual access cards to hotel rooms. In fact, Google Wallet is an analogue of Apple Wallet on iPhone. By the way, the new application includes some functions of the GPay program, which is planned to be developed in parallel.

When to expect

The Google Wallet app will be available to Android users soon. It will be available in 40 countries, including Ukraine.
