Henderson: The next Battlefield may not be released until 2024

According to media reports, the new Battlefield is already in development, it remains only to release it. It was supposed to happen in 2023, but insider Tom Henderson thinks the game could be delayed.

Last August, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that the company aims to release major Battlefield games every two years. Therefore, it is believed that the next part will appear in 2023, because Battlefield 2042 was released in October 2021.

According to Henderson, his sources were surprised by EA's plan - as if the release is unlikely to happen on time. Most likely, the game will be released only in 2024, says an insider.

Maybe in 2023, Battlefield would still have no competitors. According to journalist Jason Schreyer, the premium Call fo Duty, which is originally scheduled for 2023, will be postponed to 2024.
