"Can we leave the camel in the garden?" During the filming of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" Ewan McGregor became attached to the camel and wanted to take it away
During the filming of the series «Obi-Wan Kenobi» Ewan McGregor befriended Camel Silas and wanted to keep him.
McGregor admitted that he had a close relationship with his colleague during the filming of the series. According to the actor, a camel named Silas was his alien horse Eopi, a vehicle on the arid planet Tatooine. McGregor explained that it was a pleasure to be with the animal, unlike the mannequin while working on the prequels.
"I really, really liked him. I do not knowhow Silas treats me, and he's wonderful. When I delivered Luke to Tatooine at the end of the third episode, I was riding on damn blue gymnastic horse. I just had to sit on it and sway from side to side. I also called my friends: "Come, the last scene of the film will be an important moment." And there stands this blue gymnastic horse. I thought I was being bullied. During filming «Obi-Wan» The coach saw that I really liked the camel, and he said, "He's almost done with his career. He is 20 years old and we are looking for a home for him. I thought, “Oh nDon't tell me that. " I will come home with a camel and say, “Hey! We can leave the camel in the garden, can't we? ”
