Ukraine received Polish armored vehicles DZIK: what it is and who will use it
Poland has sent DZIK armored vehicles to Ukraine. Photos and videos of the use of new equipment by Ukrainian forces have already appeared on social networks.
DZIK is a multi-purpose infantry vehicle manufactured by AMZ Kutno. The vehicle is aimed at use by law enforcement agencies to patrol dangerous areas.
DZIK is based on the SCM S chassis55/62 with reinforced steel plates. Machine is completed with a rack for the machine gun and starting a smoke curtain. The salon seats six people. The doors are equipped with bulletproof visors. In addition, additional visors are located on each side of the rear door.
DZIK armored vehicles entered service with the Polish army in 2004. It is not yet reported how many units of equipment Ukraine has received.
