Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro goes global alongside Watch Fit 2, Watch D and Band 7

Huawei’s flagship product launch event took place earlier today where we saw the global debut of the Mate Xs 2 foldable phone as well as three smartwatches and a smartband. Watch GT 3 Pro is the flagship offering with a premium design and a boatload of health and activity tracking features.

Watch Fit 2 is a more affordable entry with a long-lasting battery and sleek looks. Watch D places health tracking first with its blood pressure and ECG trackers while Band 7 is the most affordable entry with a thin and light design and two weeks battery life.

Watch GT 3 Pro

The latest installments in Huawei’s Watch GT lineup come in 46 mm (titanium) and 43 mm (ceramic) sizes. Both are outfitted with AMOLED displays as well as numerous health and activity tracking features. You get the standard heart rate and blood oxygen measurements as well as stress and sleep tracking but Huawei is also adding ECG (market dependant) and arterial stiffness detection to the mix.

You can track over 100 sports modes including swimming and underwater diving. Runners and hikers can benefit from the onboard dual-band GPS. The watch runs on Huawei’s Harmony OS 2 and you can take calls over Bluetooth. Battery life on the 46mm model is rated at two weeks with mixed usage while the smaller 43mm model can last about a week.

Huawei Watch GT 3 (43mm) retails for €499 with the white leather strap while the ceramic strap edition is priced at €699. The 46mm Titatnium model starts at €369 for the silicone strap version and goes up to €499 for the titanium strap model.

Watch Fit 2

Watch Fit 2 brings a 1.74-inch rectangular AMOLED display, all-day heart rate, SpO2 and stress tracking as well as activity tracking for 96 sports modes. There are three styles to choose from – Active (silicone strap), Classic (metal strap) and Elegant (leather strap). You can take Bluetooth calls on the watch and get fitness exercise animations directly on the screen.

Huawei Watch Fit 2 also comes with built-in GPS and has ten-day rated battery life. Watch Fit 2 starts at €149 for the Active Edition and goes up to €249 for the Elegant edition model.

Watch D

Huawei Watch D was originally launched in China last year as a health-orientated smartwatch with ECG and blood pressure measurements. It can also track over 70 workout modes and do the usual heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress measurements too.

Watch D should last up to seven days between charges and comes with an IP68 rating. It packs a 1.64″ AMOLED color touchscreen. Pricing for Watch D starts at €449.

Band 7

Huawei Band 7 is the most affordable entry from today’s announcements, starting at just €59. You get a 1.47” AMOLED display, heart rate and blood oxygen tracking and 5ATM water resistance.

It comes in four colors and you can track over 96 sports modes. The battery is rated at up to two weeks.
