The first smartphones to receive the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip are known
Yesterday Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship processor unveiled: 30% more power efficient and 10% faster with some performance and energy efficiency improvements. Already 16 manufacturers have confirmed the release of smartphones with this processor, but some companies even named certain models.
Who is first?
So, Asus has announced that the ROG Phone 6 will be the first gaming phone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood.

In addition, Realme founder and CEO Sky Li announced that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will be one of the first Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered smartphones. However, whether it will be available outside of China is unknown, as last year's GT Master Explorer Edition based on the Snapdragon 870 was exclusive to China.

OnePlus also announced the release of a flagship based on Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but what model it will be is unknown. It is rumored to be the OnePlus 10 Ultra. The official announcement will take place in the third quarter of this year.
But what kind of smartphone will be the very first device with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 - time will tell.
