Official: Motorola will introduce a smartphone with a 200 MP camera in July

Information has already appeared on the network more than once that Motorola is preparing to release camera phone with a record number of megapixels. Now the company has confirmed the release of new items.

What is known

According to the manufacturer's official teaser, smartphone debuts in July. It will boast a main camera with a resolution of 200 MP.

Unfortunately, Motorola has not yet disclosed other details about the new product, but thanks to leaks, it is known that the device is codenamed frontier. The smartphone should get a 6.67-inch POLED display with curved edges, a hole for the front camera of 60 MP, FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel will support HDR10+.

New processor will be installed under the hood Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. The chip will be paired with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The novelty is also credited with stereo speakers, a USB-C connector with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, an under-screen scanner and a 4500 mAh battery with 125 W wired charging and 30 or 50 W wireless charging.
