Digital documents in Dії can be used in Poland and Moldova

The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is working to make the Diya app international.

What does it mean?

As part of the International Diia Summit, Mikhail Fedorov held personal meetings with the ministers of digital transformation of Latvia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Finland and Canada. In particular, they discussed the mutual recognition of digital documents in Dії abroad.

As a result, Ukrainians will be able to travel to other countries with documents in their smartphones and use them in all life situations abroad.

In addition, in the near future documents in Dії can be used in Poland and Moldova.

“Moldova is already adopting the necessary legislative changes to recognize Dii. With Poland, we are implementing technical integration to display Ukrainian documents in their application. We hope that we will be able to establish cooperation with other countries just as quickly,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine notes.

By the way, Ukrainian COVID-certificates in the application have long been recognized in the EU and other countries.
