Xiaomi developers have released a new system update for the Redmi Note 8 smartphone.

What is known

Unfortunately, this is still not MIUI 13. We are talking about firmware V12.5.5.0.RCOEUXM. It was released for users of the European market.

The May Google security patch has been added to the software, which closes many system vulnerabilities. In addition, the developers worked on the bugs, removed the blurry background in the quick settings curtain and added it to the application folders. Another thing worth noting in the system is 1 GB of virtual RAM.

When to expect

The firmware has been released so far for the participants of the Mi Pilots program. If there are no bugs in the software, then in the near future it will begin to be distributed to all devices.
