Microsoft is Working on Project Keystone, Affordable Xbox Cloud Gaming Streaming Stick
Microsoft has confirmed earlier rumors that it is preparing to release a miniature Xbox device for streaming cloud games to a TV or monitor. Literally, something like HDMI-dongle, that you can simply connect to almost every modern display.
According to Microsoft's Windows Central announcement, the company is indeed "working on a game streaming device, codenamed Keystone, that can be connected to any TV or monitor without using a console."
Nevertheless, one should not hope for an early release. In the same statement, Microsoft notes that the company "made the decision to retire the current version of Keystone" and is now going to take a "new approach." It is not yet clear what kind of changes we are talking about. As previously reported, the Xbox TV Stick can be expected within the next year.
