Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 specs leak reveals minor changes

A big Samsung Unpacked event is expected in August, during which the company will introduce the new Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 smartphones, but a detailed list of the Z Fold4 specs has already been published on the Web. If these data turn out to be true, then the new model will not differ much from the current Galaxy Z Fold3.

The Galaxy Z Fold4 will reveivee an internal 7.6-inch Super AMOLED flexible screen with QXGA+ resolution and 120Hz frame rate, as well as a 6.2-inch AMOLED outdoor display with Full HD resolution and 120Hz frame rate. The hardware platform will be based on SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, which is logical. The amount of RAM will be 12 or 16 GB, flash memory - 256 or 512 GB. The software platform will be Android 12 with One UI 4 interface.

The outer screen will have a 10-megapixel front-facing camera, while the inner screen will have a 16-megapixel Under-display camera. The main camera system will be represented by three modules: with sensors with a resolution of 50, 12 and 12 megapixels and, respectively, wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses. The latter will provide a 3x optical zoom. In fact, the camera of the expensive Galaxy Z Fold4 will almost repeat the camera of the affordable Galaxy S22. The Galaxy Z Fold4 has a 4400 mAh battery with 25 W charging support, stereo speakers, IP68 protection, S Pen support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC.
