NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 to launch first, followed by RTX 4080 and RTX 4070
It is rumored that the RTX 40 series will be releasing in mid-July. This refers to the announcement of each new SKU with their own separate launch dates sometime after that. Usually, for new architectures from NVIDIA, they will announce their graphics cards two weeks before the launch happens; which means that the actual debut might take place in August. According to Kopite7kimi, what is confirmed is that the schedule for the RTX 40 series is different from RTX 30 "Ampere's". The flagship card, RTX 4090, will supposedly be released first rather than focusing on RTX 4080.

A) 4080 → 4090 → 4070
B) 4090 → 4080 → 4070
The RTX 3080 was the first card to launch just two weeks after announcement, followed by the RTX 3090 another two weeks later. The RTX 3070 was launched two months after making this card official. All rumored RTX 40 graphics cards based on Ada architecture use different GPUs. NVIDIA reportedly focused their efforts on AD102 GPU with AD104 entering the testing stage very soon. This GPU will be used by RTX 4070 GPU, according to the same leaker. However, we have not yet heard anything about AD103 entering the testing phase, in fact, Kopite has been very reluctant to confirm any new information to this GPU specifically. Therefore, one might assume that NVIDIA will choose AD102 GPU for this model instead.
