BMW iX1: all-wheel drive electric crossover with a range of 438 km
BMW has unveiled a new electric crossover.
What is known
The novelty was called BMW iX1 xDrive 30. The car received two electric motors and a 64.7 kWh battery. Thanks to him iX1 can travel up to 438 km on a single charge (according to the WLTP cycle). Its two engines develop a total output of 230 kW (313 hp). This allows the machine accelerate With 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 km/h.
The novelty supports fast charging up to 130 kW. It can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes or add 120 km of travel in 10 minutes. If you charge the machine from a regular AC outlet, the charging time will be about 6.5 hours.
As for the interior, it is similar to other models in the line. The electric car was equipped with an infotainment system with two screens: a 10.25-inch information display with a control unit and a 10.7-inch multimedia screen in the middle. The center console houses the controls for the iDrive 8 system, the gear selector and the wireless charging console, which also integrates wireless smartphone control.
Price and when to expect
BMW iX1 xDrive 30 will be released on market at the end of summer. The car is expected to cost around $60,000.
