The docking station for Steam Deck will be released later than expected
Valve planned to release a docking station for Steam Deck in late spring, but not fused. The problem is the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic - so we will have to wait a while.
The new release date has not yet been announced:
"Because of the shortage of parts and closures in our productions, which were related to COVID, release of the official docking station Steam Deck delayed. We are working to correct the current situation and will tell you more as soon as we have additional information. "
The company also adds that these problems will not affect the execution time of orders in any way Steam Deck, because there are other parts used - in addition, make consoles at other companies.
Now Valve continues to improve the performance of the docking station when connected to USB-C hubs and external monitors.
