Former Sony PlayStation exclusive games Spider-Man and Miles Morales are coming to PC
Times are changing. Back in 2017, Sony's Insomniac Games told that its Spider-Man game was a "permanent PS4 exclusive" and would "never appear on Xbox or PC." Now Sony held a State of Play presentation, where it showed a number of new games and expanded the list of platforms for existing ones. And they announced that the Marvel's Spider-Man series will be released on PC. This includes Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered arriving on August 12th, 2022 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales coming in the fall. Both games are promised to support ray tracing and advanced graphics settings, but no details yet. Both games are ported by Insomniac Games and Nixxes studio. The latter is known for the releases of Marvel's Avengers and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. In addition, Sony spoke about the sales the Marvel's Spider-Man series. It said that the series has now sold through more than 33 million copies globally as of May 15, 2022, which makes it one of Sony's biggest first-party hits.
The new dilogy will add to the list of former Sony exclusives, which already has God of War, Days Gone and Horizon Zero Dawn. Games will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
