Apple AirPods Pro 2 headphones likely will not get a new design
All users expect a new design from the AirPods Pro 2, but according to the latest data and guesses, as well as approximate photos of what the headphones will look like, it becomes clear that the design will remain almost unchanged, and will not have a so-called "stemless" design.
Last year, photos of the future AirPods Pro 2 model were published and it is clearly seen there that no special changes in design are planned. Recently 3D models of headphones appeared on the Internet, and this becomes another confirmation of the information last year. The photo shows that there are no sensors that detect that the earpiece is in the ear. Instead, you can see the skin detection sensors (i.e., the earpiece reacts when it touches human skin). Such sensors are more efficient and of higher quality. They react specifically to the skin, or rather to a certain moisture content in it.
Turns out that the AirPods Pro 2 will not be able to take any other surface for the human body. The previous version of AirPods Pro had optical sensors. They are also effective, but they can be mistaken, because they do not react specifically to the human body, but to whether they are on the surface. That is, if you put the earpiece in your pocket or bag without a case, then the earpiece can perceive it in the same way as if you put it in your ear. It is for this reason that the developers decided to install other sensors in the new AirPods Pro 2 model, which are more accurate and not mistaken.
Another analysis of photos of the upcoming AirPods Pro 2 headphones also confirmed a minor design change. They report that only the hole for the new human skin detection sensor has changed. The photo shows that the place under it is of a slightly different size and corresponds to the sensor itself, so such photos can be considered realistic. Everything else in the design has not changed at all, which means that AirPods Pro 2 will not look any different from the previous model.
