Intel Arc A730M videocard is faster than RTX 3070 Laptop
The leaker “Golden Pig Upgrade” posted on Weibo a score from 3DMark Time Spy benchmark with Intel’s new Arc Alchemist mobile GPU known as Arc A730M. The GPU scored over 10K graphics points. And this not even the full ACM-G10 based model. This discrete GPU features 24 Xe-Cores out of 32 available on this graphics processor.
This score is higher than the GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop is gaining. It has an average score of 9462 points. Although it is not clear at what power limit. But even the 115-watt RTX 3070 Ti is a little behind. This is a very high result, especially if we remember that the A730M is not the top card of the line. It has 384 active compute units, while the A770M will have 512 units, which means it will be much faster.
The test was running on a Chinese Mechanike laptop with Intel Core i7-12700H 14-core processor. Arc A730M is the 12 GB 192-bit based SKU with TGP up to 120W. The full ACM-G10 model known as A770M will go even higher to 150W.
