iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone SE and other old Apple smartphones will not receive iOS 16

Today, Apple introduced a new version of the operating system for its smartphones - iOS 16. As it turned out, not all models running iOS 15 will receive the update.

Who is "overboard"

According to Apple's official information, ‌iOS 16‌ will only be available on ‌iPhone‌ 8 and newer smartphones.

This means that ‌iOS 16‌ does not support some older devices, including iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, ‌iPhone‌ 6s Plus, ‌iPhone‌ 7, and ‌iPhone‌ 7 Plus.

iOS 16‌ is available to developers today, with the first public beta coming next month.
