Norway handed over 22 M109 self-propelled guns to Ukraine, which can shoot up to 30 km
Ukraine continues to receive weapons from Western partners. This time help came from Norway.
What is known
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the country. Norway donated 22 self-propelled artillery mounts to us M109A3GN. In addition, the aid package also includes equipment, spare parts and artillery ammunition.
By the way, this is not the first delivery of the M109 self-propelled guns to Ukraine. Previously Oleksiy Reznikov: Ukraine has already received M109 self-propelled guns and Harpoon anti-ship missiles.
Recall that M109 is American self-propelled howitzer, which is in service with the US Army and other countries of the world. The M109 was first used in real combat during the Vietnam War, then it was used in almost all military conflicts in which the United States took part. It has a 155 mm caliber and a range of up to 30 km (depending on the type of projectile).
