Rumors: Minecraft strategy is under development

Minecraft has already conquered several genres outside the usual sandbox thanks to the quest Minectaft: Story Mode, diabloid Minecraft Dungeons and AR game Minecraft: Earth. It seems that now it's time for a real-time strategy with a nuance. 

According to journalist Jeff Gertsmann, Mojang Studios is engaged in the development of unusual RTS based on Minecraft. What is known: 

• Players will be controlled by a third-person character and command units nearby 
• It is necessary to fight with several fractions, including piglins 
• The story and videos are not finished yet, but in some ways the game is already being tested 

Probably involved in the development Double Eleven - a studio that helped Mojang when creating Minecraft Dungeons. The company is best looking for workers to develop a real-time strategy for a large franchise.
