Microsoft will present demo versions of games in the Xbox GamePass
Microsoft working on a project codenamed Moocroft, a program designed to provide early demo versions of games to subscribers Xbox Game Pass. Demo versions will look like limited levels and early sample games to try which fans typically had to spend hours waiting in line to play them on E3 or other exhibitions.
Such demonstrations of games are a big job for developers, even though E3 will not take place this year. Microsoft creates this program to financially reward developers who are willing to spend time and effort on demo versions of their games.
Over Moocroft work is still underway, but plans to launch the first demo versions of the games next year. Initial attention will be focused on independent developers, and any developer will receive his reward, as well as the opportunity to see people's reactions to test versions of his games.
