DJI Mavic 3 destroyed several Russian occupants by dropping a bomb on them - it was the quadcopter's last stand
As we have repeatedly mentioned, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not only reconnaissance and strike drones in service, but also consumer quadcopters. One such is DJI Mavic 3.
What we know
We recently wrote how DJI Mavic 3 helped destroy Russian headquarters and equipment by pointing a howitzer M777 at Russian military positions. Now there is a video of its fellow dropping a bomb on the Russian army personnel.
The video was published by volunteer Sergei Pritula, who recently raised $20 million for three Bayraktar TB2. The video captures DJI Mavic 3 dropping a bomb on Russian soldiers. The quadcopter was able to destroy the enemy, but there is bad news. This combat flight was the last for DJI Mavic 3. To help raise funds for a new UAV you can here.
Recall that the drone can fly for up to 46 minutes, and the maximum speed is 5 m/s, 15 m/s or 19 m/s depending on the flight mode. Mavic 3 is equipped with a 20MP sensor 4/3 CMOS and a lens with a viewing angle of 84. A 12 MP telephoto lens with 4x zoom is put next to it. The quadcopter costs $2 050, but Fly More Combo and Cine Premium Combo kits are available for $2 850 and $5 000 respectively.
