Google says it will begin to automatically remove visits to abortion clinics, domestic violence shelters, weight loss clinics and other potentially sensitive locations from users' location histories in the coming weeks. On Friday, in his blog the company said that removal occurs "soon" after visiting one of these locations.
You can also turn off Google location tracking altogether, following the instructions given here.
In the Google post under the title "Protecting people's health privacy" it is also mentioned that there will be an update for Fitbit that will allow you to delete multiple period logs at the same time if you used the health tracking feature.
