The AFU began receiving the first Leleka-100 drones from the $1,200,000 purchased
The Ukrainian charitable foundation "Turn to Live" has launched the process of transferring unmanned systems "Leleka-100" to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
What is known
The foundation purchased 25 aircraft complexes for 36,000,000 UAH ($1,200,000). The cost of one is 1,440,000 UAH ($48,000). The Armed Forces have already started receiving the first drones. One complex consists of two drones and a control station. All UAVs will be handed over to servicemen by the end of the summer.
"Leleka-100" is a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle. The manufacturer is the company DeViRo. The drone was developed for air reconnaissance units and became operational in May 2021.
In addition, the UAV can be used for territory patrolling and terrain mapping. The maximum speed of the drone is 140 km. "Leleka-100" is capable of correcting artillery fire to a depth of 50 km.
