Nintendo has announced Bayonetta 3's release date and released yet another gameplay trailer. Maybe if you were not convinced by the previous video, then this one will convince you, they show one more central character.
In addition to Bayonetta, Viola will be under your control - a cheeky witch-apprentice who is ready to unleash the power of her sword on her enemies. In the trailer, Viola jumps across chasms with a rope, slashes bullets with a blade and controls a wayward sidekick, the demon cat Cheshire.
According to the press release, in the third part, Bayonetta will meet familiar faces and team up with other Bayonettas to stop homunculi created by humans. The protagonist will visit the streets of Tokyo, the mountains of China and more.
A collector's edition - Trinity Masquerade Edition - will appear in the My Nintendo store and some other retail networks. It includes a 200-page art book and a special showcase for your Bayonetta trilogy with new covers that fold into a panoramic image. The first and second Bayonett a are sold separately, the physical version of the first part for Switch will go on sale from September 30. More details about the Trinity Masquerade Edition will be announced later.
