A video of the operation of the 155-mm FH70 howitzer has appeared on the Internet.
What we know
The video was published by the Telegram channel horevica. The video shows one of the howitzers handed over by Estonia. By the way, apart from Estonia, FH70 was also donated to us by Italy.
The FH70 is a 155-mm British-German howitzer. It was adopted in armament in 1978. It is older than the American M777, but has the same range - 20-30 km (depending on the shells). FH70 can boast a semi-automatic loader, which allows the howitzer to fire 6 shells per minute.
