Trailer of Azazel from the Legendary Lords set for Total War: Warhammer III
During a Q&A, the developers of Total War: Warhammer III accidentally revealed more than they intended. As word began to trickle out, Creative Assembly was quick to officially unveil the four Chaos Lords from the Leaderboard. First demonstrated Azazel - Prince of Damnation and Eternal Torment.
Each of the four Lords will have new gameplay features and combat units, and will also be associated with one of the Chaos Gods. For example, Azazel is a loyal follower of Slaanesh. In melee, he can temporarily ignore charms and deflect any damage. To support the army, the Lord uses his faction's spells, including Phantasmagoria and Slaanesh Warlock. He was also given the ability to fly.
The Champions of Chaos Lords Pack includes:
- 4 legendary Lords.
- New campaign mechanics.
- Story campaigns available both in Immortal Empires and simply in the "troika".
- 8 new "marked" Lords and heroes.
- 36 "branded" versions of Chaos mortal units.
- A new Temple of Chaos with several "marked" variants.
- 4 units from elite units (Regiments of Renown) - one for each of the gods of Chaos.
The Champions of Chaos Lords Pack will be released simultaneously with the start of the Immortal Empires beta test on August 23. Creative Assembly promises to tell about the rest of the leaders in the coming weeks.
