Wing introduced three drones for delivery of goods weighing from 250g to 3kg

The company Wing unveiled three drones that will be used to deliver packages.

What's known

Wing showed prototypes of each drone. They are all of a mixed design with wing, drag and lift propellers. The key differences relate to overall size and payload capacity. The company now uses the same drones regardless of the order.

The largest UAV is equipped with two dozen propellers, which are used for takeoff and landing. The drone has four pulling propellers and a sophisticated tail fin. There is a parcel compartment in the hull. The cargo is lowered to the ground using a winch.

The most compact drone is designed to deliver parcels weighing 250 grams. It has a standard T-shaped tail, two large propellers, four small propellers and one front-mounted pulling propeller. The drone will be used primarily for drug delivery from the pharmacy.

The third model is a more oversized drone, which is almost indistinguishable from its smaller brother. It is distinguished by a larger wing and the presence of four large propellers instead of two.

The company Wing does not specify when it will start using the new drones in delivery services.
