Official video shows the larger Motorola Razr 3 cover display
The Motorola Razr 3 is expected to have two bigger screens, and now we've got the official word. Last week, Lenovo Mobile China's GM Chen Jin displayed the new design on stage, emphasizing the internal display. The CEO has now published a short video that shows off the cover display.
The video reveals an Easter egg, which reads: “You can play like this on the outside screen.” It's a straightforward dice game, but it won't fit on the Galaxy Z Flip3 cover display, for example. Two cameras, as well as an LED flash, are visible when the picture is lightened up a bit.
According to rumors, the main camera will be a 50MP unit and the ultra wide one will be 13MP. The cover display will rise from 2.7” to 3” (up from 2.7”), while the inner display will grow from 6.2” to 6.7”. This FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is folded and unfolded via a new hinge mechanism that allows for better flexibility in terms of usage scenarios for example trips or hikes outdoors when you may need your phone as extra protection without taking it out at all times (with case).
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, according to Motorola. It didn't give a definitive answer regarding memory quantities, but rumors have it that there will be 6/8/12GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of storage. There's also a rumor going around that the Moto Razr 3 will be less expensive, priced at €1,150 instead of the Razr 5G's €1,300 price tag.
