AMD has developed Noise Suppression technology to compete with Nvidia RTX Voice

2 years ago, the NVIDIA RTX Voice took Center Stage as the pandemic forced millions of people to work from home and participate in meetings they were (technically) unprepared for. At the time, due to escalating video and audio recording PC hardware prices, individuals were compelled to utilize low-quality devices such as notebook built-in microphones. NVIDIA ultimately unleashed a beta for a technology dubbed RTX Voice in such situations.

The RTX Voice is a noise-canceling technology that works for both input and output devices. The major feature of this technology is noise cancellation, which was made possible by a cutting-edge artificial intelligence development.

It appears that AMD may soon have something comparable. Noise Suppression technology has just been revealed in a leaked teaser video that AMD inadvertently posted on YouTube. Despite the fact that the film was already deleted, Redditors were quick to preserve a backup.

From the video, we learn that Noise Suppression will use similar technology as NVIDIA's noise cancellation, which involves inserting AI magic into the audio pipeline to suppress noise on input and output devices. AMD will integrate this functionality into its Software Adrenalin Driver. As a result, it will be included into the AMD software stack, bringing even more capabilities together in one app.

It is uncertain when the technology will be implemented, but the leaked tear stated "available now," suggesting that it should have been published with the new driver.
