Xiaomi has decided to officially say goodbye to some of its older smartphones.
Who's on the list?
So, the Chinese manufacturer is discontinuing support and after-sales service for the following models:
- Mi Max 3
- Xiaomi Mi 8 Discovery Edition
- Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition
- Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 (5G)
- Mi Play
- Redmi S2
- Redmi 6 Pro
As it turns out, support has stopped since July 1. This means that the company will no longer supply replacement parts to repair these gadgets. If the service center runs out of parts, the maximum they will be able to offer the user is cleaning or fault detection.
By the way, most of the above models were released in 2018. Production of these products has been discontinued.
